Today, George Floyd was memorialized in his hometown of Minneapolis. While we pause to reflect on the tragic loss of his life, we are devastated that it took the loss of life to bring national recognition to a system that is unequal, biased, and racist. Tremendous change is needed to address the injustice facing Black communities in our country today, and recent events serve as an overdue reminder that silence is no longer an option.

We stand in solidarity with any individual who has been the target of prejudice and we join the call to action for immediate justice, accountability, and action to eradicate racism in America. We believe everyone has a right to live, free of fear, free of bigotry, free of racism, free of hatred.
